Tyler's Story
Tyler was a young man full of faith, kindness and love for others. He was the best son, best older brother, and friend to many. His smile, heart and sense of humor touched everyone around him. He was the kind of kid every parent dreams of and every friend was lucky to have. At just 14 years old, his life changed after being diagnosed with BAV (Bicuspid Aortic Valve) at a routine physical for high school football, beginning a journey our family regrets and one that we never would have expected. After unexpectedly losing Tyler following a downward spiral of complications, our world changed forever.
Through unimaginable loss and heartbreak, we created this foundation to honor his life, keep his light alive and turn pain into purpose by helping others in his name.
